M/S SAKTHI INDUSTRIES is a modern Alloy Steel Foundry geared to Manufacture Quality Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel & Nickel Alloy Castings to all International Standards for Valves and General Engineering Industries.
The Company is situated at Sipcot Industrial Complex, Ranipet . Which is 9Km from Chennai to Mumbai National Highway 04. The unit is located in 87200 Sq. Ft. with a build up area 5610 Sq. Ft.
The foundry started commercial production in the year 2015 and managed by a team of highly experienced foundry professional headed by Sri.R.ELUMALAI who has more than 25 years experience in foundry industry under various capacities.
The company equipped with one number of 150kg and 300kg connected Induction Furnace with all accessories. With this company can produce quality castings from 0.5Kg to 210 Kg single piece.
The company is having In-House facilities to manufacture Patterns and Mounting,
The company is equipped with 2tonne capacity Electric Heat treatment Furnace with automatic temperature indicator cum controller, Graphic Recorder and Thyristor controls for a predetermined Heat treatment cycle with Controlled Heating.
The company has captive generating set of 200KVA to take care of complete power requirement of foundry.
The entire operation of the company right from placement of purchase order for raw materials and consumables to invoicing of materials manufactured by the company covering entire process has been computerized. In the process Company has developed good Information management System.
The company has a good quality set up. Melt chemistry is controlled by SPECTRO METER (Direct Reading For analysis of Iron Base, Nickel Base with Facility for Nitrogen analysis). All heats are numbered and test certificates are provided for each heat. 100% Visual Inspection is carried out on all castings and dimensional inspection is done on sample castings. NDT tests like Radiography are done on first sample castings and thereafter as required by customers.
The company has an installed annual capacity of around 600Tones and at present is producing around 25Tonnes per month. The major part of company’s production is for the Valve Industry. The company has developed expertise in making quality valve Castings in all grades of Stainless Steel like CF8M (SS 316), CF8 (SS 304), CF3 (SS 304L), CF3M (SS 316L), Duplex Stainless steel like Gr.4A & Gr.5A etc., and Low Alloy Steel like WCB,WCC,LCB,LCC,WC6,WC9 & C5.
The company is having Fettling and Machining facilities In-House.
The company’s Quality system is having ISO 9001:2015 Certification from TUV INDIA and also under process for getting Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)
The company has been undergone Indian Boiler Regulation, Chennai for certification of “WELL-KNOWN FOUNDRY”
The company is having facilities to prevention and control of pollution and also got clearance from TAMILNADU POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD to operate.
